Pricing & Payments
We accept most major Debit & Credit cards in – store, together with cheques and direct bank payments. All purchases or services provided must be paid in full prior to despatch. Goods remain the property of Suffolk Pianos until cleared funds are received. Please note Goods ordered or reserved cannot be cancelled – refunds or deposits will not be given against cancelled orders. Prices are subject to change without notice from the manufacturer.
Availability
Where possible we have tried to indicate the availability of products on our web pages and in other advertisements, however this is an indication of availability only. Web pages are not a ‘live’ status of current stock.
Second hand Goods
Items which have been previously owned and used are sold as second hand, by the nature of being pre-owned, cosmetic blemishes to the finish and casework should be expected together with reasonable wear to the instrument and mechanical parts. Ex demonstration models are sold as seen and are not brand new, there may be signs of cosmetic blemishes.
Suitability of Goods
Suffolk Pianos cannot and does not in any way attempt to warrant the suitability of goods for any particular purpose. It is the buyer’s responsibility to carefully check specifications, sizes and compatibility. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the correct product is being purchased. Goods are not sold on a trial basis. All sizes & weights shown in any of our advertisements or on our web pages are given as a guide only, please note that colour and finishes shown on our web pages can very according to your own computer monitor. We always recommend you visit the showroom in person to see and try musical instruments prior to purchase.
Delivery
Prices given on our web pages are a ‘starting from’ price and are not an exact quotation. Prices are shown for easy access to a ground floor room. Steps or stair work will be quoted for separately. It is your responsibility to ensure access for delivery is clear.
We will always strive to take the utmost care with your piano and the delivery firm will use piano wheels and grand shoes and other technical equipment to ensure the safe delivery of your piano. however it can be very difficult for us to ensure footwear remains clean and dry especially during periods of wet and bad weather. For health and safety reasons, our removal team cannot be expected to remove their footwear when entering your home, nor is possible to clean the piano trolley wheels before entering your property. Suffolk Pianos cannot accept responsibility for claim for dirty marks on any flooring whatsoever.
With regard to delivery times, we can only provide an indication of time when booking as either AM or PM and do not accept responsibility if our times over run. On the day of delivery or collection we are happy to make contact by telephone to give updates to closer times. Please note that traffic and the very nature of moving delicate yet heavy musical instruments limits us in being able to give precise times. No liability for time delay will be accepted.
Piano Stools
Prices do not include piano stools, yet many different types of both new and secondhand stools are available from the showroom at a separate charge, form £30 upwards.
Guarantees & Underfloor heating
If you have under floor heating, we strongly recommend the use of a piano heat protection mat. Prices vary depending on size and colour supplied. Our guarantee on individual pianos becomes null and void if a piano is kept on top of under floor heating.
