Waldstein pianos are made in the very advanced and sophisticated Pearl River factory, which is probably the largest piano manufacturing plant in China. They were largely designed by German piano makers and they also incorporate certain key parts, such as the wire for the strings, which are sourced from Germany and elsewhere in Europe. In 2005 the 108 model was given an award from the UK’s Music Industries Association and Classic FM for being the best acoustic piano of the year. This studio-sized piano has a lovely rich, warm tone and a medium touch. It is in excellent condition and will suit players of all kinds up to an intermediate level.
