Knight Console £1850
Highly respected British maker. At their best between about 1960 and 1985; They were the only make of piano in Steinway Hall alongside Steinway, as Steinway didn’t have a good small upright piano at the time. They have a rich warm tone, refined firm touch, and are extremely stable with central heating. Knight pianos are famous for their tonality and sonority. Their owner Sir Alfred Knight was a stickler for quality – when he left the standard of the manufacture went downhill.
The compact size of this lovely little piano belies its sound. Do come and play this piano and you will be really surprised at how great the sound is.
